Welcome to Yale!

Yale College new student move-in will take place on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to sign up for a specific move-in slot over the summer. Orientation will start in the afternoon upon your arrival on August 13 through the first day of classes resuming on August 27. Events for families will be held the morning of August 23 through the afternoon of August 24. All students are expected to remain on campus from August 23 - September 7 for Opening Days activities.
