Yale College’s residential college adviser program offers first year’s opportunities to engage with members of the Yale community with whom they may not otherwise come into contact. Advisers are traditionally faculty and staff members who also serve as fellows to that college. In this initial meeting first years meet their college advisers, discuss how they would like to structure their meetings for the year and generally collaborate.
