This gathering marks the first time the entire first year class in your college will be gathered under one roof. Presided over by your residential college dean, during this meeting first year’s are introduced to their head of college and first year counselors, and learn about the wealth of resources and supports available to you as you embark on your time at Yale. This is also the first of several events during Opening Days that strives to articulate what it means to be in community at Yale and within a residential college.
